Following an intense Spring Season with dominant performances in regional competitions and a successful Regional Qualifier match, BURC returned to the NSCRO 7’s National Championship tournament in Philadelphia for the second year in a row. This year Babson vanquished competition on Saturday and played in the ‘Final Four’ in the main stadium on Sunday. BURC finished 4th Nationally, besting their 6th place finish in 2016.
The club started their spring campaign with a trip to St. Thomas to train and compete in the inaugural ‘Paradise Smash’ tournament at the end of the week. Babson finished 2nd in the tournament and the experience set them up well for a strong run at the National Championship.
Spring Travel is supported in large part by Alumni Donations. The Travel Fund was established in 2017 through gifts by more than 140 Alumni in an effort to help prepare clubs for spring competitions and build team unity.
