In less than 10 years from it's inception, BWR produced it's first National Championship Team. After crushing it's competition throughout the Fall and running the table with NERFU and Northeast Championships, BWR faced off against Marist College in the Spring of 2006 and dominated the match to solidify it's spot atop Division 3. While classified at the time as the East Coast Championship, it is widely regarded as the National Championship and just one year prior to the formal effort to declare a National Championship for Division 3 Women's Rugby on an annual basis.
